The largest regional conference for cyber security : “CYBER ZERO” is coming to Pristina from March 4 to 6.

From March 4 to 6, the eighth edition of the international cybersecurity conference “CYBER ZERO” in the Western Balkans will be held in Pristina, organized by the Albanian Cyber Association and FINDBUG, with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Pristina.

The conference is planned to have over 50 speakers, 10 panel discussions, and more than 2,000 participants. The main theme of the first day will mainly focus on cybersecurity, the second day on disinformation and fake news, while on the third day, the media and civil society organizations will have the opportunity to gain more knowledge about the use of Artificial Intelligence tools to enhance their performance for analysis, video, and audio.

Participation in this conference has already been confirmed by the Ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, the former Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, as well as other distinguished personalities from countries in the region such as Albania and North Macedonia.

In the previous edition, there were over 1,000 participants, 55 expert speakers, 9 panel discussions, and an ethical hacking contest known as “HACKING DAY WHEN HACKING IS LEGAL 7”. A total of 28 ethical hackers competed for a prize of $20,000 to identify weaknesses in media and civil society platforms.

This year, it is expected that 10 key global leaders based in the USA in the field of cybersecurity will participate, each of them offering insights into the latest products and solutions aimed at making the digital world a safer place.
