Cybersecurity spending in Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) is projected to grow by 16.7% to $36 billion in 2023. The region recognizes the crucial importance of cybersecurity for government and critical infrastructure. Australia has experienced a rise in cybercrime, leading to the implementation of a Risk Management Protocol emphasizing the need for continuous risk management and operational resilience. As governments increasingly rely on digital technology to provide services and protect citizens’ data, cyberattacks pose significant risks, including disruption, financial losses, and reputational damage.
